St. Anne's Human Services Food Pantry services clients for the Town of Shrewsbury (01545 zip code). Each town (and zip code) has a designated food pantry. If you need assistance to find the correct Food Pantry, please call the Worcester Country Food Bank or check the WCFB web site.
Food is distributed every Monday at approximately 10:30 a.m. while supplies last. New clients can sign up at this time. Please line up in the parking lot and remain in your car. A volunteer will come to sign you up.
Food Pantry Donations: We are happy to accept donations of dry goods (pasta, canned goods, juices, peanut butter, etc.), toiletries, (deodorant, disposable razors, soap, shampoo, conditioner, feminine care products, etc.), paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, paper plates, cups, etc.), laundry products, and cleaning products. Gift cards in $10.00 and $20.00 values are always needed.

St. Anne's Human Services is a dedicated group of volunteers who service the needs of our clients in the the Town of Shrewsbury through the Food Pantry program. Our goal is to serve the needs of those who are food insecure, and the community has provided us with the secure knowledge that this goal can be reached if we work together. We encourage anyone with a pickup truck available on Mondays or Fridays to help us pick up food at the Worcester County Food Bank on Route 9 in Shrewsbury.
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic brought huge obstacles to running the thrift shop. There are no scheduled deliveries as we have had in the past, and some of our suppliers have moved to a different part of the state. It is no longer feasible to accept secondhand items, and disposal of items we can't use is cost-prohibitive.
We thank all who have supported our thrift shop over the years. We are a small group doing a big job! We miss our thrift shop, but look forward to our new venture and with God's help and guidance, we know it will be a great success!
